Meet James Skoufis

Orange County’s Hardworking State Senator

The first in his immediate family to go to college, James Skoufis grew up in Woodbury and graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School. First elected to the Woodbury Town Board in 2009, James went on to spend six years in the State Assembly before his election to the State Senate in 2018, where he chairs the Committee on Investigations and Government Operations. He lives with his family in Cornwall.
